Basement colors – You’re redesigning your basement and you need to choose the right color to paint the walls. Since the basement is probably one of the darkest rooms in the house, choosing the right color for painting is very important. The color you choose can determine if your basement is a warm, attractive space you can imagine or a gloomy stomach inside the house. As you sit to choose the color you want from your basement, you may want to think of these ways to respond to different colors:

Black usually means darkness and despair and is often associated with death. Black color absorbs light and unless you want your basement to a sad place, black should be used with caution. Unfortunately, white walls are vulnerable to scratches and marking. The dark red makes warm feelings. Orange has some of the same red features. Increasingly bright orange, the lively space becomes softer while orange tends to make room warmer and friendly. Green can work to balance red and orange. Blue is said to soothe the nervous system and can soften the bright room. Just like green, if dark blue is used dark ends with the same impression as black. Lighter blue colors make people feel safe and comfortable. Yellow is a great color that is cheerful and stimulating. Lighter yellow work to make space feel bigger but if used excessively, it can be too stimulating. Yellow is best used in combination with other colors.
